Motorola RAZR BLK - V3 Returns In Black

Motorola RAZR BLK - V3
Continuing to build on the momentum of its original Motorola RAZR V3 sleek silver model, the Motorola RAZR BLK V3 is one of the several versions of the ultra-slim, metal-clad flip phone.

The RAZR BLK V3 like its original V3 counterpart is made almost entirely of metal including aircraft-grade aluminum, magnesium and a first-of-its-kind nickel-plated copper alloy keypad.

Like several of the latest cell phones by Motorola, the RAZR BLK V3 is Bluetooth-enabled allowing voice, image and video transmission without wires.

The RAZR BLK includes features for taking pictures, talking via speakerphone, surfing the Net and playing MP3 ringtones and Java games.

"The RAZR V3 was a tough act to follow, and just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the design team has come up with this jet black version which simply leaves you breathless," said Motorola's Michael Tatelman, VP and general manager, Mobile Devices Business, No

Affordable LCD TVs, now in the Philippines

LCD TV
Recently, I visited several appliance stores here in Capiz. And we noticed their latest big budget blowouts, they are the affordable 32 inches LCD TVs at PHP 25,000 to PHP 30,000 price range. We were taken at awe by the 'cheap' LCD TVs at 32 inches of rich color and texture. The brands were Samsung (la-32a330), LG (32LH2OR), Panasonic (L32X10X), and Sanyo (LCD-32K30). These LCD TVs are capable of receiving High Definition channels (Of course there are no digital HD channels here in the Philippines just yet) and they are also great at displaying videos (DVDs). I am particularly interested with watching high definition videos on these LCD TVs and maybe playing PlayStation 3 or Wii or Xbox 360 on these systems are also very exciting (my nieces and nephews will surely love these too). I could just imagine watching my favorite movies such as the Transformers, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and other effects laden films with large and 'affordable' LCD TVs coupled with home theater systems. These LCD TVs could also be plugged with the laptops with HDMI adaptors. That means more video watching through YouTube could be enjoyed. This certainly would be one of the tops of my want to list especially once bonus season comes.

The See-Through Smartphone

LG GD900 Crystal
LG makes a bold step in the design category by introducing yet another innovative aesthetic concept, transparency. LG GD900 Crystal, which is billed as the world's first transparent-design phone and the transparent screen, is as cool. This crystal, glass-like phone proves that stylish design can be achieved not only with the use of vivid colors, but also by revealing the handset in its purest form. Once imagined but never seen before, the LG-GD900 is expected to make a new fashion statement. With the debut of the LG-GD900 at the Mobile World Congress 2009, LG will strengthen its leadership in the mobile industry by expanding its design portfolio. Transparent yet eye-catching, the LG-GD900 will stand out from the crowd, and so will those who carry it. When opened, its sliding, translucent keypad illuminates a cool glow that reflects the phone’s sleek and polished silver body. But first-rate design was not the only thing in mind when creating the LG-GD900. It also lives up to the highest level of technical features expected in a premium caliber handset, including its dedicated Bluetooth headset. The LG-GD900 is scheduled for release during the second quarter of 2009 and the phone’s advanced features will be unveiled at that time. However, visitors at the Mobile World Congress will have an exciting opportunity to get a glimpse of LG-GD900, one of the most sensational new handsets at the LG Electronics. LG told us it's not sure whether the phone will ship with a tempered glass keypad or a hard plastic one--we're rooting for glass, although the plastic version we saw looked fine--but either way, we're looking forward to looking at stuff through it.
